A kotta utolsó lapján a következő, nagy valószínűséggel Borbély Gyula karmestertől származó ceruzás bejegyzés szerepel: „Először vezényeltem a Magyar Rádióban 1948. jan. 5-én hétfőn (este 2020 Magyar Muzsikában).” A Magyar Rádió archívumának szíves tájékoztatása szerint az 1948-as adatok csupán az akkori rádióújságokból kereshetők vissza, noha az ezekben található információk nem mindig megbízhatóak. Ezek szerint Borbély Gyula vezényelt az említett rádiós premieren. A Lajtha László özvegye által készített kéziratos listán nem szerepel ugyan dátum, de a rádiós bemutató mellé ő is Borbély Gyula nevét jegyezte fel. Az In memoriam című kompozíciónak ez volt a negyedik előadása.
